About Us
Little Masters Development Center LLC has a provider agreement with the NYS Dept of Health, Bureau of Early Intervention, to provide EI Services.
Our program is approved, regulated and funded by NYS Dept of Health and the NYC Dept of Health & Mental Hygiene. The Early Intervention Program (EIP) is a public program for children under the age of 3 who are either suspected of having or at risk for developmental delays or disabilities.
LMDC is committed to becoming a distinct NYC Early Intervention agency that focuses on teaching children birth- three the necessary fundamental skills needed to learn and grow. This agency was created based on a core mission, to help young children and their families move forward in their lives by teaching them appropriate strategies through Speech, Special Instruction, and Applied Behavioral Analysis (SI/ABA) services which will enrich their lives by ensuring they have a successful early intervention program.
Our agency is centered around making learning fun for young children by teaching them skills learned during play and utilizing resources in their natural environment that is motivating and reinforcing for them to learn these new skills. LMDC incorporates teaching techniques such as Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), when authorized under a child’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). The principles of ABA focus on strategies used to explain how learning takes place. ABA has been scientifically proven to provide developmental and behavioral approaches to treating and educating young children and their families who are diagnosed with autism. LMDC plans to put every effort in creating an environment for families, children, and providers that is positive, compassionate, and trustworthy.
LMDC believes that learning should be fun and rewarding for children and that parents and caregivers should be provided with the necessary support to learn effective strategies they can use to help their children overcome challenges they may have within their daily routine. We help create a plan that addresses each individual child’s specific learning challenges, while still being motivating and entertaining for our learners.
Little Masters employs professionals specifically trained to address the needs of young children and their families. Our professional staff is appropriately licensed and certified by the State of New York and receives ongoing supervision and training in their respective fields.
